A wonderful opportunity to own two monuments of vocal jazz on one 7-inch single. 'The Creator Has A Master Plan' was first recorded by Pharoah Sanders - with Thomas on vocals - on his album "Karma" in 1969 and became an underground hit and Spiritual Jazz classic. When Thomas signed to Flying Dutchman he recorded a new version, which was released on a single. Around the same time Louis Armstrong recorded his version for the Flying Dutchman subsidiary Amsterdam with some help from Thomas. It is a beautiful version and 100 years from Louis' first release, we are very proud to release these. Both sides feature the original 7-inch edits, neither of which have been previously reissued.
